Welcome to the website of the CSIS department. Despite the name, our teaching and research activities focus on a wide variety of digital disciplines including but not limited to human centred computing, music technology, software engineering, software localisation, and bio-inspired intelligent systems
We offer a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes covering the areas listed above along with undergraduate programmes in Computer Systems, Health Informatics and Multimedia and Computer Games Development. We also offer a long-established postgraduate programme in computing and some courses as Gaeilge.
The mission of the University of Limerick is "to be internationally renowned as a distinctive university which shapes the future through educating and empowering people to meet the real challenges of tomorrow".
